Hello, my name is Jonathan and I'm a photographer and horticulturalist based in Tasmania, Australia. 

Tasmanian and Australian plants bring me immense enjoyment, from propagation to cultivation to education, and of course, photography! I love to take macro and close photos, I feel this is an excellent way to present and share the intricate beauty of these wonderful plants. Naturally though, while out walking on the bush trails looking for plants to photograph I will find all sorts of other wonderful things to take photos of! I am always keeping an eye out for the 'smaller details' like patterns in rock, ice and and sand.
